Esther, 12 years old and HIV-positive, is taking care of her dying mother and baby sister, while the brilliant Obert is struggling to put food on the table, leaving no room for school fees to be paid. The story of Zimbabwe, once the pride of Africa, is a complex one, and the story of its children the one least told.
A unique document produced by and featuring multi-award winning South African filmmaker Xoliswa Sithole is back with Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children a film that i.a. won her another BAFTA, and a Peabody award.
