Cape Town - Julius Malema is going to open up to Carte Blanche this Sunday.
The ANC Youth League leader, who was suspended from the party for five years on Thursday following a disciplinary hearing, will be the subject of an in-depth interview on M-Net's investigative journalism show.
In a press release issued by M-Net on Thursday, the interview, titled Juju's Day of Reckoning, is described as such:
"Over the years, ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema has become the face of controversial public utterances, prompting political observers to ponder his popularity.
"He's been depicted as everything from a bull in a china shop to a belligerent baby in nappies, yet he has a following and, reportedly, a fat bank account. With a resounding "guilty" verdict and his suspension from the party he repeatedly brought into disrepute, will he, like mavericks before him, fade into obscurity, or will Julius remain true to the ANC?
"In a one-on-one interview recorded [earlier] this week, Carte Blanche speaks to the fallen hero."
The interview will air on Carte Blanche on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and M-Net HD (170) on Sunday November 13 at 19:00.
