Zimbabwean house-mates in Big Brother Africa dubbed The Chase, Pokello Nare and Hakeem Mandaza are off the chopping board after surviving this week's nomination for possible eviction this Sunday.

Evictees are Selly (Ghana) and Natasha (Malawi) from the Ruby house while in the Diamond house Denzel (Uganda), Betty (Ethopia) and Huddah (Kenya) will face off.

However, the Zimbabwean pair has so far impressed viewers of the show with Pokello being one of the favourites largely for her sense of style and swag while Hakeem, is playing cool and popular with women as hunk of the house.

Hakeem had three nominations from other House-mates who said the model and fitness trainer should leave the house because he talks a lot about himself. "Queen of Swag" as Pokello is popularly known was nominated twice.

Already fans are rooting for Pokello to win the ultimate prize money of US$300 000 through several social media platforms.

"Vote Pokello for US$300 000. She deserves to win and this time Zimbabwe has selected the best contestant. Viva Pokello queen of Swag," posted Portia Macklis on Face book.

On the other side Hakeem is proving to be ladies' favourite as he made tongues wagging during the Jacuzzi scene where he wore a Speedo.

"OMG.....is that guy from Zimbabwe," tweeted Zambian Monique.

The winner of Big Brother: The Chase will be named after 91 days of head-to-head competition - and the power to award to US$ 300 000 prize rests completely in the hands of the viewers.

Don't miss out tune in to AfricaMagic and DStv Channel 197 & 198 to see which house-mates are first into the firing line.
