Pageant Director, Entrepreneur and Model, Lorraine Chinouriri opened up the door to other age groups this year in the hope she could give young girls different experiences, 'Our pageant is very different because we don't focus purely on the way someone looks on the outside, we have no height ,weight or age restrictions, we welcome mothers and just focus on empowering these young girls and ladies, encouraging them to give back to the community. This year the ladies did photoshoots, baked cakes and involved themselves in other activities to raise money for charity. Our mini and junior finalists also raised enough money to buy sewing machines that are going to be sent to Zimbabwe, for the younger contestants it is all about charity work and meeting new friends and having different experiences and for the older it is usually the stepping stone to greater things in their careers.'

Winners for Miss Photogenic and Miss Personality included Nyasha Garati (crowned 1st Princess),Chauntelle Madondo (crowned 2nd Princess), Kasey McCulloch ,Angela Mandaza(crowned 1st Princess), Stephanie Agun (crowned 2nd Princess) and Zoe Badza (crowned 1st Princess) ,Jacqueline Tinkenawo scooped Miss Charity and Miss Publicity, Tinkenawo alongside Madondo and McCulloch also won modelling contracts with award winning, BLACKARMOOR clothing.

Marondera born, Lillie, who held down 3 jobs whilst studying for her degree was evidently emotional, holding back tears as she was crowned. When asked how she would use her title, Chopamba stated she would use her title to uplift other women, 'We must lift as we climb, I believe in empowering one another and wanting to see eachother do well, I aim to be one of those that defies connotations associated with being a black woman. I want to show that with the right amount of determination and the right attitude, the sky is the limit'.
