The event will run from July 28-30, 2016 and will feature the work of Rahima Mohamed and TapiwaKanhemba, two emerging designers from Zimbabwe, whose striking creations are sure to impress renowned buyers, the press and the public.
The showcase begins with an invite only event on Thursday 28th July in a private location in Shoreditch, London. The showcase then travels to Birmingham on Friday 29th July for a two day extravaganza open to the public at Mac Birmingham, Cannon Hill Park.
Whilst in Birmingham, emerging and leading designers from Zimbabwe will hit the runway with their designs. During the night entertainment will be provided by Zimbabwean artists and visitors will also have the opportunity to attend networking events, a fashion careers panel and a blogger and vlogger panel.
Chiedza Dawn Ziyambe, Founder of Zimbabwe Fashion Showcase said: "We are thrilled to announce that Zimbabwe Fashion Showcase is back for a second year. It is a great opportunity for leading and emerging Zimbabwean fashion designers to showcase their designs to buyers, press and the public."
"We received a lot of support at our debut events last year and we have some really great evenings lined up for next month. Giving these designers a platform to shine is a fantastic event to be a part of and I know lots of people will come and support emerging Zimbabwean talent."
