Help me Dr Lwazi - Is it okay for a 40-year-old man to wet his bed

Dr Lwazi
I don't really know how to put this; my hubby's best friend was dead drunk on Saturday, he could hardly stand up and later-on drive.
We found him by the car park after a night-out struggling to open one of our friends' car thinking it was his.
So we drove him to his place, opened the door and tucked him in completely dry.
On Sunday morning he called us to ask if it he had fallen in a puddle of water.
He said he woke up all wet. My hubby thinks he might have peed himself.
Is it normal for a 40-year-old man to wet his bed, my hubby is worried he might not be well.
-Sue
Dear Sue
I think your husband should not worry too much about his bed wetting friend because it appears like this incident only happened once, and that was when his friend was drunk.
It is most likely that his body had lost control over his bladder because he was too drunk.
He can only worry about it if its happening every time when he is drunk.
My advice to your friend will be to reduce his alcohol intake.
