Male nurse accused of raping a cancer patient

Johannesburg - A male nurse accused of raping a cancer patient at a hospital appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, Free State police said.
The case was postponed to January 20 for further investigations, Captain Harry Nagel said.
He said the reason for the postponement was for the State to get the final DNA test results. The 33-year-old man was arrested in October for allegedly raping the woman at the National Hospital in Bloemfontein. The incident happened on October 15.
Nagel said the man allegedly raped the 50-year-old woman during a night shift.
"He was arrested at his place of residence after being positively identified during a photo identification parade."
