Hiker falls off Table Mountain to death

SA - A hiker has fallen to his death, after plunging 30 metres off Table Mountain in Cape Town on Saturday morning, governmental emergency services said.
"A 32-year-old neurologist was hiking with a friend near Plattekloof Gorge when somehow he fell," service spokesperson Keri Davids said.
"It [the fall] was approximately 30m."
She said various emergency and medical personnel were dispatched in a helicopter to reach the man.
However, he had sustained critical neck and head injuries and died on the scene.
His body was retrieved and hoisted onto the helicopter.
The man's family were on the scene when the body was collected by forensic pathologists.
