Cop commits suicide after shooting wife and two children

A South African cop in Pretoria shot his wife and two children before turning the gun on himself in West Park on Saturday, said Gauteng police.
Captain Pinky Tsinyane said the police officer reportedly shot and killed his wife and 3-month-old baby boy, and critically wounded his three-year-old daughter before committing suicide by shooting himself.
The 3-year-old girl survived the shooting and was transported to a Johannesburg hospital for treatment. She is in a critical condition.
Tsinyane said the motive for the officer's actions was unknown at this stage.
Police were investigating.
