The controversial painting showing South Africa's President Jacob Zuma with his manhood hanging out has been vandalised in an art gallery in Johannesburg, the News24 reported on Tuesday.
According to News24 two suspects painted over the painting in red and black. One man painted a red cross across Zuma's face and manhood while the younger man spread black paint across the artwork.
This came after ANC asked the South african High Court to force the Goodman Gallery to remove the painting.
The painting had already be sold for $14 000USD.
Footage shown on television showed a man in a suit painting a red cross over the president's genital area and then his face.
