Woman left sitting near dead body on a 4,500 mile flight

A plane passenger was left sitting across the aisle from a body on a 4,500 mile flight.

Reporter Lena Pettersson, 34, said the 35-year-old man was taken ill and died shortly after take-off from Amsterdam heading for Tanzania.

The Swede said: "The crew didn't seem to know what to do. It wasn't pleasant but I'm not one to make a fuss."

Kenya Airways apologised and gave her a £450 refund.
