Ivory Coast TV station bombed after UN condemnation

Supporters of Ivory Coast's internationally recognised president say state television has gone off the air in the volatile country's largest city.
A resident of the Abobo district of Abidjan, where street combat has been raging for the last week, says the antenna was attacked overnight and was still on fire at midday on Sunday. He didn't want to be named for fear of retribution.
The Radio Television Ivorienne (RTI) state television channel was no longer available across Abidjan.
The United Nations has condemned RTI for inciting violence against UN peacekeepers. The UN certified the results of last year's presidential election showing opposition leader Alassane Ouattara had trounced sitting president Laurent Gbagbo.
