Expelled ANC Youth League president Julius Malema and suspended league spokesperson Floyd Shivambu have travelled to England to apparently speak to British investors, SABC news reported on Saturday.

The report said the two seemingly were there to try to get businessmen to invest in South Africa.

Malema is expected to face a grilling from British businessmen about his stance on the nationalisation of mines and expropriation of land without compensation.

The trip comes as the city faces worldwide attention for its hosting of the Olympic Games.
