Mugabe officially opens Zambia Agric Show

President Robert Mugabe, has officially opened the 86th edition of the Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show in Lusaka, Zambia.
Mugabe commended the relations between the two countries saying agriculture is the backbone of the two countries' economies.
The President said the two countries are prepared to host the United Nations World Tourism Organisation General Assembly next year.
Mugabe also said the two countries must work jointly on a number of projects, especially the Batoka Gorge hydroelectric power project.
President Mugabe toured various stands including the Zimbabwe stand where 19 local companies exhibited.
On Friday, Mugabe toured a number of industries in Lusaka and met Zambia's founding president, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, whom he described as a living liberation icon in the Southern Africa region.
