Zambian President hints on appointment of new minister of finance

News Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema through his Twitter account has hinted that he will appoint the new minister of Finance today.

Hichilema won the recent elections against the then-incumbent President Edgar Lungu and other opposition leaders and was inaugurated on Tuesday.

"Good morning beloved citizens, we are doing things in a phased and coordinated manner that will yield positive results. My first Cabinet appointment is the Minister of Finance this morning. I shall keep you updated as we progress," Hichilema said.
