We support Robert Mugabe - ANC refuses to be bullied by Hackers

Cape Town - The African National Congress has said that it will not be bullied into changing its position on Robert Mugabe despite a hacktivist group's attack on its website.
On Friday a group calling itself Africa Anonymous carried out a DDOS (Distributed denial of service) attack that resulted in the ANC's website going offline.
"anc.org.za is tango down! for being corrupt and supporting the mass murdering mugabe #anc #africa #zimbabwe #anonymous,"
Anonymous Africa (@zim4thewin) tweeted after the ANC's website was disabled.
The attack appears to be motivated by the party's support for Mugabe, but the ANC said that it would not change its position as a result.
"We support Robert Mugabe - as a person; as the ANC, we have fraternal relations with ZanuPF as a former liberation movement," ANC spokesperson Keith Khoza told News24.

He insisted that the political party would not be bullied on its policies.
"If anybody has a problem with that, it's about them wanting to coerce us to adopt their position as opposed to what we've expressed openly."
Africa Anonymous took down IOL, the online division of Independent Newspapers, on Wednesday for an article in support of Mugabe.
It followed that action up with an attack on the Herald newspaper on Thursday.
Khoza said that while the ANC did not agree with ZanuPF on all points, the parties shared a common history.
"There are things that Zanu has done that we do not agree with, but to the extent that we have shared trenches with them, we regard them as a fraternal organisation.
"Within a democratic dispensation, we would that the level of discourse over the level of organisational relations, should not lead to a situation where people resort to illicit means of coercing us not to express our views," he added.
IOL came back online after about two hours and Khoza said that the ANC would have its website online shortly.
"It's something that we will overcome; even though they may try and shut it down, we will overcome it. There is sufficient expertise to reverse that."
