Zuma consults Sadc leaders on Zimbabwe polls

South African President Jacob Zuma is seized with the Zimbabwe political crisis, and was consulting other regional leaders on the way forward to ensure the country's forthcoming elections are free and fair.
Zuma, who is Sadc pointman on Harare, is expected to spell out the regional bloc's position over the matter soon.
Zuma's facilitation team spokesperson Lindiwe Zulu said the SA president remained seized with the Zimbabwean issue.
MDC-T secretary general Tendai Biti on Wednesday said that given the uneven political playing field, Sadc should meet to review whether it was possible to hold elections.
