Pupil assault on teacher caught on camera - Video

A teacher at Glenvista High School in Johannesburg has been assaulted by a Grade 8 pupil.
The incident was filmed on a cellphone by a classmate on Wednesday.
In the video, pupils are heard encouraging the learner to attack the teacher.
It is still not clear what sparked the attack.
The footage clearly shows the student hitting, kicking, biting and then assaulting his teacher with a broom and a chair.
The video also shows the boy repeatedly throwing the broom at the teacher as he walks away with what is believed to be the boy's backpack.
