Minor earthquake rocks Johannesburg

A minor earthquake (Magnitude 4) hit parts of Northern Johannesburg this morning sending some fears amongst residents.

The minor earth tremor was felt in the Fourways, Diepsloot to Midrand areas as people were settling into the Monday morning hive around 9am.

Residents have been calling radio stations and posting on social networks enquiring about the tremour.

Some residents were in serious shock while others were celebrating experiencing their first ever and most likely last earth tremor.
