A man arrested in connection with explosives found on a bus near the Beitbridge border in Limpopo appeared in the Musina Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, said police.
Police spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said the matter was postponed to 27 November.
The suspect, a Zimbabwean national, was arrested on Tuesday after police found 13 blasting cartridges and 13 connector cap fuses in the overheard luggage compartment of a bus entering the country from Zimbabwe.
Police had stopped the bus for a routine search.
"Initially, no passenger took responsibility of the explosives but the police's investigative prowess linked Zikhala Busane to the illegal explosive devices," said Mulaudzi.
Busane was expected to make a formal bail application during his next court appearance.
"In another explosive case, the same court has remanded a Zimbabwean woman Elita Sibanda, 23, in custody following her brief appearance on Wednesday," said Mulaudzi.
Sibanda was found in possession of 26 plastic cartridges and 100 detonators while travelling in a bus from Zimbabwe to South Africa last month.
She faces charges of unauthorised supply or possession of explosives or incendiary devices.
She would return to court on 22 November, also for a bail application.
