'Dirty' woman denied treatment in SA

Johannesburg Emergency Services in South Africa says it will investigate a formal complaint relating to a woman reportedly denied treatment because she was dirty.
The services spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi said they are taking the allegations seriously and management will investigate the issue if a formal complaint from the family is lodged.
A South African publication on Monday published an article to the effect that ambulance workers refused to transport Sarah Bezuidenhout to hospital because she was too dirty.
The newspaper also reported that Sarah later died.
