A man, dressed in ZCC gear, is expected to appear in court after allegedly trespassing into the home of EFF Commander in Chief Julius Malema's grandmother in Limpopo - to tell her the ANC was plotting to assassinate him, the City Press reported.
It is alleged the man (50), dressed in ZCC khakhi uniform and a badge, stormed into the Seshego home of Malema's grandmother after climbing over the security wall, and woke her up.
The man is alleged to have told her that he had been informed by angels of God that he had to come pray for Malema because the ANC was planning to assassinate him.
The frightened pensioner informed Malema about the incident.
Malema, who was driving to Baby Jake Matlala's funeral in Johannesburg, had to make a U-turn to Limpopo.
Limpopo police spokesperson Ronel Otto confirmed the incident and said the suspect was charged with trespassing and is expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
Malema has confirmed that he had aborted his trip to Matlala's funeral and that he was rushing to Limpopo to investigate.
