Johannesburg - Eleven people were injured when two trains collided at the Berea Road station in Durban on Friday morning, paramedics said.
One person was critically injured while the others sustained moderate injuries, Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.
They were treated on the scene and taken to various hospitals.
Botha said the cause of the crash was not yet known and police were investigating.
