34-year-old man rapes his 83-year-old grandmother

Johannesburg - A man appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate's Court on Friday for allegedly raping his 83-year-old grandmother, Mpumalanga police said.
"The incident occurred on the 24th of December at approximately 21:00, in Morgenzon near Ermelo," Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said.
Mohlala said the 34-year-old man allegedly went to his grandmother's room while she was asleep, and knocked on the door pretending to have brought food for her. He was arrested on Wednesday morning.
"He was remanded in custody and the matter was postponed to 7 January, for a formal bail application at Morgenzon Periodical Court," he said.
