Itumeleng Khune arrested for doing 173km/h in a 120km/h zone

BAFANA Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune was arrested for speeding on Friday night.
The Bafana goalie was stopped by speedcops in Centurion, Gauteng, while driving his sponsored maroon Nissan Juke. He was doing 173km/h in a 120km/h zone. Itu was briefly detained at Centurion police station, released on bail of R1,000 and ordered to appear in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court tomorrow. Tshwane Metro police spokesman, Isaac Mahamba, said: "The man was arrested along the N1 highway at the John Vorster off-ramp travelling towards Joburg." Mahamba said Khune was alone at the time and was due to appear in court soon. Khune was not available for comment.
