The ANC Youth League is selling access to closed sessions at its upcoming 24th national congress for up to R50,000 per person via its website.
There were four packages available on the website, ranging from the R50 000 "Anton Muziwakhe Lembede founders package" for one participant, to the R180 000 "Walter Ulyate Max Sisulu recruiters package" for five participants.
The league said the packages had different access levels and were restricted to a specific number of participants.
According to the www.ancylbizlounge.co.za website, one of the benefits would be the opportunity to have breakfast with President Jacob Zuma and ANCYL leader Julius Malema.
Other benefits touted were "networking" with business leaders and ANC officials in a relaxed environment, and "watching history unfold" on realising the Freedom Charter's ideal of "economic freedom in our lifetime".
There were also "many other special opportunities".
The league was scheduled to hold its congress from June 16 to 19.
