Man desperate after his prostitute wife walks out

39-year-old Simon Khumalo from Kibler Park, south of Johanneburg, South Africa, is distraught after his girlfriend who is also a prostitute left him.

When he brought her home in 2000, he knew that she was a prostitute but he hoped she would change.

Simon says that he is not angry that she left. "I still love her. I want her back," he said.

Simon said when he first took the woman into his life, he prayed for her and they were happy.

They had a child together in 2002 but sometimes she still went back to the streets.

"I would get home from work when I got piece jobs and she would not be there," said Simon.

"Then I'd find her selling her body at Southgate. I never felt betrayed. I kept on praying for her to change, but I suppose she never will."

In 2003 she disappeared and after many years she apparently came back dressed as a traditional healer.

"She said she had been at her mum's house," said Simon.

"She told me that she was a trained sangoma and I believed her."

Simon said he often found his partner sprinkling herbal concoctions in the house.

Soon after, she was on the streets again and Simon is worried she may not come back.

He said he thinks his partner has cast a spell in the house that brings a hard life for him and he is asking the woman to come back and cleanse the house.

"Whether she is still a prostitute or not, I want her back," said Simon. "I still love her."
