Anna Malatjie, 85, vows she will take revenge on the thieves who tricked her out of R2 000 of her social grant.
"I'm going to put a curse on them," she said.
Anna of Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, said two elderly women and two young women gave her a lift last week, saying they would take her home as it was raining.
But it turned out to be a trick.
Now she's going deep into the mountains of Modjadji in Limpopo to perform ancestral rituals.
"I reported them to cops, but I'm going to show them," said the fuming Anna.
She was tricked after fetching grant money for herself and her disabled grandson.
"I was stopped by four women in a white Toyota Conquest," she said.
"They said they were sent by the president to look for old women to give them groceries."
She thought she was lucky as it was raining when they offered her a lift.
In the car, one woman asked how much she had collected and she told them.
She said: "One of the gogos said they could help me count the money to check if Sassa officials had not taken some for themselves.
"I don't know what came over me. I took out the money and they counted it."
But instead of returning her money and taking her home, they pushed her out of the car and it sped off.
Anna gave cops the car registration number.
Captain Manyadza Ralidzivha said a robbery case was opened.
