Police find two men inside an ATM

South African Police responded to an alarm early on Monday morning at a Port Elizabeth petrol station, and found two men hidden inside an ATM, said Warrant Officer Dumile Gwavu on Monday.

"While the police were still securing the scene, they noticed two men, aged 18 and 20, who were inside the machine," Gwavu was quoted as saying.

The police officer said no money was taken from the ATM, and no explosives were used.

The two men will appear at the New Brighton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

They will be charged with malicious damage to property.
