Zim truck driver stabbed to death in Zambia

POLICE in Kabwe have picked up the body of a Zimbabwean driver whose truck was wrestled from him by unknown people before stabbing him to death.
According to police investigations the truck registration number ACE 2202T, ACE 1628 is suspected to have been snatched from Elton Dziva on March 30, but it was found abandoned in Ndola with four wheels missing.
Central Province police chief Standwell Lungu said the truck belonged to GDC Motors of Zimbabwe.
Mr Lungu said the truck was carrying coal from Zimbabwe and that the body of the deceased was found near Mulungushi University.
His body was found with a swollen head with blood still oozing from the nose.
He said police were still investigating the matter to bring the culprits to book and cautioned motorists against stopping anyhow to give lifts to strangers.
