YESTERDAY there was a report on a 33-year-old man who suspected his 29-year-old wife was cheating on him - so he allegedly cut off her private parts and tried to cut her throat!
The victim is now in hospital in a critical condition.
And people are speaking out about her abusive boyfriend.
They say in February this year the victim was pregnant when her jealous boyfriend kicked and punched her until she gave birth to a premature baby.
The baby later died in hospital.
But still she did not separate from her cruel man, insisting they would be separated only by death because she loved him.
The victim's best friend, Mmaphefo Sebidi (35) revealed this in an exclusive interview with the People's Paper.
Mmaphefo was in tears when she said: "We advised her to divorce this abusive man a long time ago but she refused, despite the brutal attacks."
Rosemary Maboke from Women against Women and Children Abuse told Daily Sun: "We are sick and tired of men who continue to abuse women and children, especially the helpless.
"If it was up to me, I would have his private parts removed. The death penalty should be brought back."
Constable Mmakgatso Mphenyeke said no matter how small the abuse might be, it has to be reported.
"Most unemployed women are scared that if cops arrest their abusive partners they will die of hunger. We advise them to break the silence and not withdraw cases. They must let the law take its course."
