South African Home Affairs minister (Dlamini-Zuma) in Bulawayo

Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the South African Home Affairs minister and former wife of the neighbouring country's president, Jacob Zuma, is in Bulawayo with her daughter, actress Gugulethu, who is married to Wesley, the son of the Minister of Industry and International Trade Welshman Ncube, for a private family function.
Dlamini-Zuma was spotted at a local hotel on Wednesday with her daughter and her son-in-law, a mathematician.
Wesley tied the knot with Gugulethu in 2008 at a wedding held during the festive period and was dubbed the "the mother of all weddings" in the City of Kings then.
In an interview, Ncube confirmed the visit and said the South African minister was in the country "purely on private business".
"True they are in Bulawayo but Minister Dlamini-Zuma is on private business. They will be attending a birthday party for Wesley's maternal grandmother who is turning 70. I believe they are with my wife now, you can talk to her but as I said there is no official business at all," said Ncube.
Ncube is riding on the crest of a wave as he looks set to clinch the presidential seat in his party MDC-M after incumbent Arthur Mutambara said he would not be contesting.
Ncube's wife, Ntokozo, told reporters she was elated that her in-laws together with her son were in the city to celebrate her mother's birthday.
Her mother, a widow, Fejo Mkandla, hails from Botswana and Ntokozo is her first child.
"My in-laws and my son spent Wednesday moving around town and today (Thursday) they have gone sightseeing at Antelope Park, but unfortunately I could not be with them as I had to sort out arrangements for my mother's party.
" It's not really a big bash, but something reasonable for family and close friends," said Ntokozo.
"It's an important occasion for me because my mother is my role model and inculcated values in me that I have been able to pass on to my children."
She would not say where the party would be held.
