11 foetuses found at taxi rank

Johannesburg - Eleven human foetuses have been found in a bucket at a taxi rank in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, the SABC reported on Wednesday.

Lieutenant Nkosikho Mzuku said taxi commuters alerted police to the remains.

No one had been arrested by Wednesday evening.

According to the report, there has been speculation that the foetuses could have originated from a local clinic.
