Man rapes aunt as his uncle watched World Cup Opening Game

The excitement of the World Cup in Brazil has turned into grief and anger for a couple in Lusaka, where a 20- year-old man raped his 39-year-old aunt as his uncle was glued to the television watching the opening match of the ‘beautiful game' according to state owned Zambia Daily Mail.

The suspected rapist, whom police have identified, has since been arrested and detained at Matero Police.

Police deputy public relations officer Rae Hamoonga said the aunt opted to retire to bed, leaving her husband to watch the opening game between Brazil and Croatia, which started after 22:00 hours.

The nephew allegedly took advantage of the situation to rape his aunt.
