Zanu-PF says the America-Africa summit which is aimed at promoting the United States' economic, military and security has nothing for the ordinary people of Africa.
The party's Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo, said the forum is a poor imitation of the China-Africa summit, which has brought immense benefits to African countries especially in terms of trade where trade between the two sides has risen to some 30 billion dollars.
Gumbo hailed the Kariba Expansion Power Project being rolled out in partnership with China, the Essar-New Zimsteel project and others as proper examples of beneficial partnerships.
The United States, Britain and their western allies decided to isolate Zimbabwe over a decade ago as punishment for the land reform programme.
Zimbabwe however adopted a Look East policy which is bearing fruit.
The China-Africa trade through the partnership has yielded good results for the continent which is handling trade inflows reaching some 300 billion.
