Man forces girlfriend to eat her own poo

A 36-year-old man allegedly burnt his girlfriend's face and private parts with an electric cattle prod.

The 29-year-old woman from Mahlabathini in QwaQwa, SA, had asked for money and she says as a result, she and her four-year-old son were locked up for two days over the weekend while the abuse continued.

"He even made me eat my own sh**," she claimed.

"We were chatting and laughing at his place when I asked him to give me money to buy food and clothes for the child."

"I told him I wanted the money because he fails to support our boy but he always has money for booze."

"He plugged an electric cow prod into the wall and shocked and burnt my body in front of our boy.

"I was screaming but that did not stop him. He gave me a bucket to clean myself before he locked the room and left us inside.

"When he came back he tortured me some more and made me eat my own poo," she said.

She said her mum went to the cops after a neighbour said her daughter was in danger.

"I love my boyfriend but after this we'd better separate," she said.

Police spokesman Sergeant Mmako Mophiring said when they found the woman she was badly injured.

"The woman was taken to hospital and her municipal worker boyfriend was arrested," said Mophiring.
