Jilted man beheads girlfriend

A 38-year-old man in South Africa allegedly beheaded his girlfriend, 29-year-old Promisa Ndlovu, after she tried to leave him.
He is said to have taken her cellphone and used it to lure her to his family home before he committed the crime.
The neighbours were shocked when they saw him leaving the house with bloodstained hands.
When they went next door to see what had happened, they found Promisa's body.
The lovers had been together for five months.
Constable Jacob Nhlongo said the suspect was out on parole for a murder which he committed seven years ago.
He served only seven years of a 12-year sentence. The suspect's family said that they are afraid of being haunted and they want Promisa's family to cleanse their house.
Promisa's mum, Phumelele Makhado, said her church's principles would notallow rituals.
