Foreigners demonstrate at Cape Town home affairs

Cape Town - Police were monitoring a protest at the Customs House building on the Foreshore in Cape Town on Thursday morning.
"Approximately 1 000 foreign citizens gathered at Customs building this morning and started fighting among themselves," said Lieutenant Colonel Andre Traut.
He said the situation had been stabilised.
Customs House is a regional home affairs building dealing with asylum-seeker and refugee applications.
