Woman stabs sister over missing underwear

Two sisters from Inanda, SA, have got into a fist fight that ended with one allegedly stabbing the other on the nose over missing underwear.
The family had initially performed a ritual for peace but elders believe the ancestors are angry with the clan and they said they believe the ceremony was not done correctly.
"This ceremony was meant to unite us as a family, but instead it led to a stabbing. It is a curse on the family! Maybe there was something wrong with the way we conducted the ceremony," said one.
The older said the younger sister went back to her house in another section of Inanda on Saturday and came back on Sunday saying she had forgotten her white panty.
"She looked for it but it was nowhere to be found. She became angry.
"An argument broke out when the younger one accused the older one of hiding her panty. She said it was an expensive type and that is why she came back for it.
"This angered the younger sister even more and she took a broken bottle and stabbed her older sister, accusing her of wanting to do evil with her underwear," said the elder.
The older sister, who was stabbed on the nose, said she wants her younger sister to pay for what she did.
She said she had opened a case with the cops.
Police spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker said Inanda cops arrested the suspect and charged her with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
"She will appear in court soon," Naicker said.
