MWA-SA Festive Season Wishes

The Migrant Workers' Association-SA( MWA-SA) wishes all migrant workers a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2015.

We are aware that most of us are migrant workers from within the host countries or from outside the country. It is our view that migration is a human right that touches on two fundamental rights, that is, right to live and work wherever one wants and rights to move around without hindrance.

As we get into 2015, our major focus will be to educate and empower the migrant labour force about their rights because countries like South Africa have laws that protect even the so called illegal immigrants.

We hope to see you coming on board as members of the Association to fight for the plight of migrant workers that MWA-SA has been thoroughly advocating for in 2014 through COSATU, the World Social Forum on Migrations, the South African Department of Home Affairs and many other platforms.
