Granny, 78, stumbles on bloody manhood in yard

AT FIRST granny Elizabeth Matthews (78) thought she had seen a dead rat in the yard next to her house, but when she looked closely she got the shock of her life.
"I thought it was a dead rat but when I looked closer, I couldn't believe my eyes. "A 4-5 was lying on the ground," said gogo Elizabeth.
The severed 4-5 of a grown man had been hacked off with a rough or blunt weapon.
Elizabeth said: "I called the community to look at what I had found," she said.
"I have no idea who it belongs to but it still looked fresh as the blood hadn't dried."
Now residents of Meqheleng in Ficksburg, South Africa, who witnessed the shocking incident on Saturday morning are afraid that the muthi killings which once plagued their kasi are back again.
A concerned resident who didn't want to be named said: "I'm afraid the muthi killings are back. This shocking discovery has left the community wondering where the body is. We believe the victim is dead, wherever he is."
Three years ago at least seven people including a pregnant woman were killed. Their bodies were mutilated by a group suspected of killing people to take their body parts for muthi. The pregnant woman had her stomach ripped open while she was still alive because her killers wanted to take her foetus.
Cops said at least eight suspects were arrested for those killings.
"Only a 34-year-old man,Teboho Ramakatsa, a sangoma, was sentenced for taking the lives of victims aged 10 years and 18 years," said Sergeant Mmako Mophiring.
Police spokesman Captain Phumelelo Dlamini said: "We went to local hospitals as part of our investigations but no patient without a penis was admitted. We are still investigating. We urge anyone with information to please come forward."
