To enliven a state banquet hosted in President Robert Mugabe's honour in Pretoria by Jacob Zuma, Grace Mugabe took to the dance floor with Mr Zuma, and the pair stood side by side, rolling their shoulders, waggling their hips and beaming at their delighted audience.
They were joined by Tobeka Madiba-Zuma, the third of Mr Zuma's four wives, the South African trade and foreign ministers and the Zimbabwean foreign minister.
