Cape Town - George Louka, the man accused of killing Teazers boss Lolly Jackson, has died on Monday, according to reports.
eNCA reported that the Cypriot national, who had lung cancer has died.
Last month his lawyer Owen Blumberg was quoted as saying by The Star newspaper that: "If it is a really aggressive cancer and he doesn't have much time, I can't anticipate what direction the court will take [in the murder trial]."
Louka was expected to undergo a series of tests to determine the stage of the disease.
In April the High Court in Johannesburg ruled that he would not be released from prison for what could be his final day.
"The application for the accused's release must be dismissed," said Judge Geraldine Borchers in the ruling handed down in the Palm Ridge Magistrates' Court, sitting as a high court.
