Binga - A South African elephant poacher has been sentenced to five years behind bars in Zimbabwe after he was found in possession of elephant tusks worth $4 875, the Newsday has reported.
Thulani Ngubane, 24, pleaded guilty to illegal possession of elephant tusks when he appeared in a court in the district of Binga.
Ngubane's co-accused, Mzwandile Mkize, 24, and Mpumelelo Ndlovu, 30, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
