Satanism rife in Bostwana, Senator Chief Gampu claims

Senator Chief Gampu has claimed that road accidents that are killing scores of Zimbabweans in Botswana could be due to rampant satanism in that country.
Gampu told the Senate on Tuesday that the frequency of fatal accidents involving people from his area of Tsholotsho is worrying.
"It happened that after the Christmas holidays, around January, when our children were going back to South Africa, they were in a van which was speeding. It hit a donkey, then a tree.
"A total of 13 people died on the spot and the rest of them were seriously injured. They died one after the other. This accident happened in Botswana, which is a foreign country," he said.
"What is painful is that a similar accident happened again after the Easter holidays when our children were on their way back to South Africa.
" A total of 6 people died at the same place where the previous accident had occurred. Others also died one after another. After this happened, we went to collect them so that they could be buried in Zimbabwe.
"These people were from Chief Gampu's area in Tsholotsho in a place called Malila, all the 13 people were buried on the same day,"
Chief Gampu then made the Satanism claim.
"The problem that we have is that people from that area are wondering why there are so many accidents that are happening in Botswana, especially similar accidents each and every holiday.
"Can the Government not negotiate with the Botswana Government so that this issue can be looked at properly? Perhaps there is satanism that is taking place in that area. We are pleading with Government to assist,".
