A men from Orlando East in Soweto South Africa has cried foul after the Nyanga he had consulted for ritual healings stole his money and left him and his wife bankrupt.
Daily Sun reported that Solomon Molewa (59) thought the inyanga who saved his life was an angel sent from heaven.
But he changed his mind after the woman ran away with all his money and left him and his wife penniless.
Molewa from Orlando East in Soweto said the inyanga took his R200 000 after she chased demons out of his yard.
"She told me to bring all the money my wife and I had so she could remove the bad luck from our family," said Solomon.
"She warned me if I didn't bring all the money, I would face serious problems that would result in the death of family members. I trusted her as she had saved my life. She said I was suffering from a rare disease that was burning my stomach from the inside. She removed black muthi that was planted in my body."
Solomon said he had just sold his other house and took the money to the inyanga, but she disappeared with everything.
"I tried to phone her but a man answered. He swore at me and told me to leave his wife alone. I have gone to her home and her indumba but she hides from me," said Solomon.
"I have run out of ideas on how to get my money back. The police tell me they can't open a case because I gave the money to the inyanga willingly."
Solomon's wife, Sibongile Sinne (52), said she was grateful when the inyanga saved her husband's life but now she weeps day and night because they have been tricked.
