'Zim worsened by an ageing president leading a clueless govt,' say Tsvangirai

Morgan Tsvangirai on Thursda addressed the MDC-T Policy dialogue forum at Chitungwiza "Unit L" community hall.

The Policy dialogue forum is an interactive platform where citizens interact with the party leadership to make input thereby perfecting the party's policies on various sectors of the economy.

Addressing Chitungwiza citizens,Tsvangirai said the country was in a serious crisis, worsened by an ageing president leading a clueless government without an idea of how to positively transform the lives of the people.

He said the challenge for the MDC-T as the incoming government at the next election was to have a plan and clear policies that will improve the lives of the people.

Tsvangirai was accompanied by the party senior leadership and several policy secretaries including Eddie Cross who took time to present the party's local government policy and the "Smart City"  concept.

Chitungwiza residents had an opportunity to ask questions on policy issues to the and other party leaders as well as to make recommendations on the party's policy programmes.

The MDC-T policy dialogue forums will be held nationwide where discussions and debates on the party's policy programmes will cascade down to the wards, town halls and villages where citizens will get an appreciation of how the MDC-T will govern the country.
