A 29-year-old 'hard working' factory worker in Bloemfontein, South Africa, was chopped to pieces after a waste paper machine caught his jacket on Saturday.
According to Daily Sun, Lucky Rapulane's colleagues could not do anything but stand and watch the machine eat him alive.
His body parts were spread all over the factory.
Paramedics had to work for more than four hours picking up Lucky's body parts.
One of the colleagues told the publication that: "Lucky was a hard worker and he knew all the safety measures of working with the machine, so what happened was an accident.
"All we heard was 'help!' and afterwards we saw him with his intestine hanging out and the machine kept cutting him. There was nothing we could do to help. We were just forced to watch him die horribly. What happened to him will haunt me for the rest of my life as I have never seen body parts covered in so much blood," said the man.
Police spokeswoman Constable Joy Xaba said: "We are investigating an inquest docket after a man was killed by a waste paper machine.
"At the time of the incident the man was working alone at the machine when his jacket was caught in the machine and got dragged inside the blades.
"When cops and paramedics arrived at the scene, the man was certified dead," said Xaba.
The owner of OFS waste paper in Bloemfontein, Dawie Vosloo, said: "What happened is unfortunate. All my machine operators are well-trained and have experience. We send our deepest condolences to the family of the dead man."
