WATCH: Mugabe's full speech at the 70th UN Summit 2015

Address by African Union (AU) chairman. His Excellency Robert Mugabe, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, At the general debate of the 70th Session of the General Assembly Of the United Nations (New York, 28 September 2015.

President Mugabe stated that AU members were rightfully pushing for reforms to get a seat on the Security Council and called on other member states to support the African campaign.

Mr Mugabe also said that AU members want the selection of the UN secretary-general to be conducted by the General Assembly and not as a rubber stamp of the Security Council.
