ZAPU national congress

ZAPU RSA YF province is deeply disappointed by the developments within our Party. Over the years the party has been expiriencing stagnation chiefly because of some capitalistic tendencies in our ranks. ZAPU RSA YF would like to state without fear, favour or prejudice that the quite diplomacy by the current Secretary General and the dictactorship tendencies by the Alternate Secretary General has led to the slow growth in our Party. As we prepare for the Congress we would like to state categorically that our President, the Black Russian, Comrade Dabengwa and the Vice President comrade Mukarakatirwa have been fighting a battle without the support of these comrades.
President Dabengwa has been seen conducting door to door visits and talking to the masses. We would like him and his deputy to continue leading our party to the next level. RSA Youth Front province will be lobbying other provinces to retain the President and Vice President for continuity purposes. We are calling for 50 percent youth representation in all ZAPU structures. Modern politics needs to be engaged with modern strategies.
We hereby call all other provinces to consider Generation 40 in leadership positions. We have capable Comrades who are at the peak of their political careers. It is time we call for energetic and youthful leadership to reinforce the leadership of President Dabengwa. It is time we do away with tired leaders who have reached ideological menopause and who are political sterile who can not formulate counter- strategies against the oppressor.
Such tired leaders have contributed to the demise of opposition politics and have a lot of wealth to protect. We the sons and daughters of ZPRA cadres and victims of Gukurahundists can not sit back and relax when our lives are taken for granted. It is time we change the way we participate in politics, it is time we sacrifise all we having for the future of ourchildren and the suffering masses. It is time we engage in a new revolution.
Our hope as South Africa youth front province is that our members and cadres will acknowledge the role which can be played by comrades like Mjobisi Noko, Patrick Ndlovu, Mark Mbayiwa in the new political dispensation.
we will push for a revived, rebraded ZAPU which will reclaim its political position as we come out of the congress. We are aware of some neo-liberal tendencies in our ranks and selfish leaders who are dividing the youths for their own benefit. We are calling for a Special Youth Front Congress to resolve outstanding Youth Front issues. What happened in the last Youth Front Congress should never be tolerated again.
In Zapu we Believe, in Zapu we trust. Long live the spirit of Commander Lookout Masuku and Long Live the spirit of JZ Moyo.
